Then I noticed that I put my boots on backwards.
Got to get a better bed to sleep on, can't get no rest anymore.

Cleave, I'll be see'n that too soon, when we go to Myrtle Beach, I still can't get my directions straight when I get to the east coast, think I'm looking out over the shore line at Lake Huron and looking west. Maybe we shouldn't make fun of the Newfee's, that might be how they feel here in the Centre Of The Universe. (Toronto). :<)
Later Bob

Yes, check out that type of bed! Watch for
sleep deprivation, we all have to pay the sleep
bank back. It's inevitable. Take care, shift
workers. My husband did shift work, and I had
sleep deprivation just from raising a big brood.
We have been there, done that. (Can destroy
a good marriage, if ya let it.)

I saw that one time too, when working shift work. Or at least I thought it was coming up. It was actually going down. Never did get use to shift work.

I'm on Midnight shift as we speak, it's 2:00 in the morning. The moon is shining brightly, makes it better to spot the poll cats as I walk between buildings.

For the work part, midnight was the best. Only one boss around and most times everything went smooth. I just couldn't get use to changing shifts every 7 days.

I had a pretty good boss. One time while on midnight, me and another operator were sitting back relaxing after running checks. The boss busts through the door, screams and throws a live coon on the table. I don't know who was the most scared, us or the coon.

That boss was always a prankster. Never know when you stepped around a corner if you would be drowned by a washup hose with him on the other end.

Duh, was that supposed to be funny? Or do you need a baffled waterbed? Huh? Anybody home in there?

You know you need more rest, when you look down, and you've only shaved one leg in the shower, LOL. Been there, done THAT!

F14    Posted 04-24-2002 at 13:04:30       [Reply]  [No Email]

Yeah, I hate when that happens...
