Incase you want to try it and do not know much about Linux. REDHAT is harder to get online.Even with an external.All are best with external modem.Series cable modem v92 >> Ones that say LINUX works with them.Xandos -2 EASIEST to work,SUSE -9 harder.

Another Unix variant you might find interesting is FreeBSD. http://www.freebsd.org/

I like it better, but can't give any good reason for preferring it.

Tom. I guess you are gone. I saw that mentioned but I dont remember it in the list at Cheapbytes where they sell most versions, I wanted to pick easy ones first. The language may as well be chineese . I need a book for the commands.might order one,There is a tiny linux,Look online ,Free. Downloads to two floppies. for older pc with little space. Tiny Linux.
