Disappointed in my leaf colors so far. They were better last year.
Maybe it's because our lawn is "out in the open"
country.
The leaves in town are beautiful every year!
(But the town in located in a Hollow, sorta.
Maybe the microclimate is just right!)
Oh well, cannot control Mother Nature. You get
what you get!

Color here in central W.V. is beautiful. Lots of reds and golds. Mother nature at her best!!!

Hi WallSal..do you live close to Peoria?
I went there about thirty years ago for a short stay in an Air Force, or National Guard base, don't remember which one. It was in February, not used to cold weather at all, and was more than happy to come back 'home' to Charleston, SC.

More than half of ours are on the ground but there's still some beautiful stuff to see. I'll post a picture of some tomorrow when I get to work if I think of it. It has been a great year for foliage. For a while there I didn't think it would be but it turned out gorgeous.

Mine aren't either. Keep us up to date on the foliage changes and I'll let you know when these pine needles turn.

Always like the colors somewhere else. Here it just means it's time for the leaves to drop. Then pick them up on about 40 lawns. Oy, it's a living.

Hey, Randy. How's it going? Glad to hear from you.
