I read this site every day and enjoy a lot of the information you fine people give out ---- now I need help and I think from Lenore since she seems to know her country music --- I would like to know the name of a song and I don't know the name of the artist either --- the only part I can remember is heres to the horses that pull the budweiser -- been trying for years and nobody can tell me the name --- anyone have an idea?????? thanks for the help

it is johnny russell here's to the horses. You can download it from lime wire. type johnny russell and wait a minute. The song will be there.if you type here's to the horses, however, it won't show up.

I am looking for it also, I do believe the next line is "here's to the ribbon around the blue ribbon can, here's the man who pours ....."
I also believe that Johnny Russell does it, I found a website and he done it in 1977 (pretty sure about the year.

The only song I know close to that is by Johnny Russell. Called "Here's to the Horses".

The Irish Rovers(The Rovers)had one"Heres to the horses that pull the Budweiser,Heres to the ribbon,round the Blue Ribbon Can" by that name on their"Wasn't that a Party"album years back.Prolly the Johnny Russel song.Unable to find lyrics at present but time will tell :)
