Need Distemper Vacine...

...without the fancy vet prices.
Been all over the net and I am coming up empty. Just haven't managed to find the right button. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
There is a serious distemper epidemic heading our way. Only a few miles away now. I would like to save as many of our cats as I possibly can. I may not get them all inoculated twice. But saving as many as I can is better than none at all to stave off the alternatives. Particularly when a mother mouse fell out the bowels of the WD45 this morning carrying her brood of three securely hanging onto her back. That was a scene to watch. Nonetheless, there were many of her larger cousins we fought hard to bring under control when we moved here.
I prefer the cats and there purrs of contentment over the gnawing of rodents eating away our crops and buildings.
Yeah! I know! It probably wouldnít hurt me either!
Many thanks in advance!!!
Fernan

Done this..... Fern(Mi)    Posted 10-21-2004 at 16:24:44       [Reply]  [No Email]
After posting here I tried once more. The magic words were (FELINE DISTEMPER SERUM). This worked,!!! A three way vaccine is available at TSC just a few miles away.
So, I have to hit the road most likely during Sundayís rain. Pickup some serum: and, then make tracks for the nearest K-Mart for a new barnyard tuxedo. I have got to look my best for my ladies.
Thanks everybody

PS. Some suggested joints wanted a charge card number before letting me shop. To bad! I guess Iíll shop where Iím trust5ed without the wifeís physical dimensions.

And a big thanks everyone. I knew I could count on you all.

Jeffers....in Dothan Alabama. They have livestock and pet supplies, anything you ever needed and more, at great prices.

I can't offer you any help on your search, but must say I share your opinion on rodents. If there's any way to keep the cat population up that's the best way to keep the rodent population down.
Snakes do a good job too, but I like cats better. I have an unwritten/unspoken agreement with the snakes around here: They eat all the rats and mice they want and stay out of my sight, and in exchange I don't chop them up in little pieces! LOL

Try these. I did a google search on "Feline Panleukopenia vaccine" which is cat distemper and found these.

Here is one:

Good luck.
