....Red Dog the rest of my Pepperidge Frams chicken pot pie. You wouldn't figure he would be hungry since he just polished off the rest of the cast that the vet put on his leg less than an hour ago. He was.

He ate the crust and the chicken and the gravy, but the sorry no good buzzard pushed all the veggies off the plate. There's a ring of carrots and green beans, peas and potatoes on the floor all around it. Now if that had been Elvis, he would have eaten his veggies.

When Tip was younger, I used to get her a bag of carrots. She loved them, they were like dog chewies to her. For whatever reason she grew out of them, BUT...When the crowder and the blackeye peas come into season out of my dads garden, you will find her at my feet while I am shelling. She absolutely LOVES to strip those peas out of the hulls and eat them. Funny funny dog! Oh, and the canned dog food she eats has carrots and peas in it too, the Pasta,Duck,and Vegetables I think it is...lol.

had a german shepard growing up who would pick carrots out and leave them in a circle around his bowl.he'd eay anything but carrots.

I left out the corn; he didn't eat it either. Our dogs are-were not nutrionally balanced. (smile)

All right I gotta go to bed. After I pickup all them dam vegetables.
