Can anyone recommend a town in Pennsylvania to start looking for a house and land to buy? I'm looking at staying away from moving into a town center but being close enough for my wife to driver and pick up what she needs on a daily basis. I dont care where the town is located that you recommend, If you give me a towns name I have somewhere to start to explore by reputation, YOURS!

Ebensburg, Pa. is a nice town. 200 years old. Population about 4500. There are many smaller towns in the area. Plenty of available housing. Lots of small farms. Many communities in Cambria County have very a small population. Worth checking out. You can live a mile or two from many of these communities and be completely isolated from towns. I suppose this could be said about most of Pennsylvania communities.

Good luck in your quest for your dream.
