Let me be the first to wish all you wonderful folks a very good morning,its 2am an can't sleep so desided to get up.If any one wants to set on porch with me an watch sun come up you are welcome just grab a cup of coffee an set your self down,I'll even fix breakfast for ya if you like. geo.h

Sounds like a good deal to me, George. I just hope your porch is enclosed. It's a mite chilly here this morning.

You asked about my progress on the burner. Well my SIL welded the two halves together and cut the holes for the smoke stack and front door but he hasn't fabricated the door. He wanted to make a sliding door and I insisted it be hinged. at any rate, it has not been completed. It looks like I'm going to have to sic my daughter on him or call in an outside contractor.

Nice to hear you got a start on stove anyway but i do recomend you use weld on hinges,as much as we use ours they still rust up,i'm afraid you mite have trouble with a slider type door how ever that is up to you folks,but i do recomend some kind of damper to help control heat a little better. geo.h
