Voter Problems

The biggest voting problem in this country is not electronic voting machines, paper ballots or chads;
it is ignorant people voting!
Absolutly no type of voting apparatus can help ignorant, dumb or stupid people who come to "vote".
Having been a judge for several national elections, I have seen "voters" driven up in vans who had no idea how to vote.
They were told who to vote for and the judge or alternate judge had to go with them and point to the spot they were instructed to vote for.

With all these hot lines for voter fraud I have heard about this time, they will be swamped with idiots who do not know how to vote complaining that their vote was not fair or counted. I am so glad I am not a judge any more!!

Heaven help those who go and do this job for a pittance and work for 14-16 hours!! God bless them.

a repost but it fits:

This year will probably be the most fraudulent in history.

There are millions of illegal aliens voting
There are counties in urban areas where the are more registered voters than people who would are even eligible to vote.
An army of George Soros funded groups are registering millions of ineligible voters and bribing homeless and other vagrants of various ilks with money, cigarettes and even drugs. They get them registered and get absentee ballots which are filled out by the "get out the vote" workers. (and are obviously Kerry/D votes)
No ID of any kind will be required in many if not most areas.
Votes from the wrong precinct will now be counted so people can vote numerous times.
Felons will be voting.
As per Labor Union modus operandi in the past, Nursing homes are being swarmed over by the above Soros funded "volunteers" and absentee ballots are being prepared by by those volunteers. The Democrats and especially labor Unions were really bad about doing this in the past but the scale that this is going on this year is simply unprecedented.

The massive internal Leftist and even larger foreign funded operation to illegally influence the US elections is simply frightening. If Bush manages to win this year he will have done it in spite of literally BILLIONS of foreign dollars and an army of internal and external forces attempting the most massive effort of vote fraud in American history.

Something has to be done to get the voter situation under control if we have any hope of a fair and accurate election.
At least having to have ID, proof of residency and heavy jail time and fines for voter fraud would be a start. The absentee system also needs a massive overhaul to get the fraud out of the system. Personally I would like to see that ballots ONLY be printed in English and some sort of basic literacy test for voters be instituted.

Not that any of this would matter in all probability. America's death warrant was signed a very long time ago and voting just slightly postpones the inevitable.

Even Bush supporters will    Posted 10-28-2004 at 21:34:01       [Reply]  [No Email]

If you are equally fond of both candidates, and you like Bohemian Rhapsody, you'll like this one.

I used to be a supervisor of the checklist and helped count a time or two. Tedious work. No voting machines here. No fraud or other hanky panky either.
Some people are too stupid to vote but people from both sides go out and try to get them to vote anyway. They should just stay home.

it is so foreign to me to hear about people not knowing how to mark a ballot, and if they trurly wanted to vote made their way to the polls you would think they would make sure that they asked how to mark a ballot if they didn,t know how. i couldn,t belive what i watched last time comming out of florida and they say this time there could be many more states, unbeliveable. we have people at our plooing stations to help if needed some times the eldery might need help but for the most part they sit all day.

there's alot of us that did'nt believe what came out of Fla last time toolman.

I can't see what we need election judges for anyway. If the Scalia 5 gets to appoint a Prez contrary to the vote what use is there to vote.

hopefully the people will decide it this time burr and the polls will be wrong and it won,t be close either way, be awful hard on your country if you have to go through the courts again.

yeah it would be rough but according to the news, the repugs have already hired over 30,000 lawyers to contest any or all states with a close out come.

It's amazing how folks who claim they are working for Jesus can be so crooked.

With a bought and paid for Supreme Court in America there is no doubt who gets the benefit of the doubt. Same as last time. Only last time after a real count Scrub still lost Fla.

Hmmm, every legal recount I heard of Bush won. After the election a bunch of newpaper folks went and did their own recounts, using every imagineable convoluted set of rules they could think of, and Bush still won, every time except one. That must the the one definitive set of rules you are going by.

Burrhead: Florida count , recount, re-recount by some liberal media types- Bush ahead 537 votes. Bush won Florida by the rules at the time. Even New york times uses Bush won small margin in its latest reports/urging new vote drives. Latest from Wisconsin - about 5,600 invalid addresses in Milwaukee on voters registration list, Gore margin about 5,700 in 2000. Maybe Dems getting out the votes from the graveyard again? Enjoy next week until after election. RN.
