HOWDY FOLKS! Missed Y'all!

Our old phone line from the house to the pole gave out on us. Had the phone company come out today and he replaced the box and the wiring, for free! It was on their side, so it was free free free...good to know some things are still free. :)

Anyway, I just wanted to throw in comments on the last four pages I just caught up on!

To JamesGa...I am so glad to hear Jenny is back at home and on her way to recovery. Great news, really good to hear.

Dave Smith...beautiful pheasant...striking colors! I couldn't shoot anything that wasn't threatening me or mine, so he would have definitely been safe in my

Toolman...Your weather sounds nice and crisp. I have this vision of your place, I wonder if it looks like I picture it...niiiiceee

Saw where deer season was mentioned. Apparently it has begun wround here, you just have to hit one with your car and there it is for the picking. Since its been getting light later in the morning, its still dark when I take Shelby to school. Went a different way this morning and just about took out the front of my bumper with a HUGE dead deer in the road, that was fun.

Texas...You can come and cook at my house anytime honey! I love a man that can cook...

NewGen...that full moon has got you loopy! You better get you some good rest afore you go off the dep end!!! lol! Oh...and don't ya love how animals are good for keeping warm??? ;)

Deadcarp...I am glad to hear you are back in the comfort of your own are such a strong willed person...bless your heart...XOXO

Lenore...Shelby gets a little paper like what we used to get, its kinda like the Weekly Reader. Its called Scholastic News. Very informative little paper for kids. She gets them once a week in school. Also, my Mama will be working the polls this next Tuesday, and if what you say is true...poor Mama! She will have lost her mind with all the dum dums coming through!

Cindi..Good to hear Red Dog is back to his old self, going out and seeing what he can get into!!!! LOL!

Lazy Al...I bet that Old Barber was a character to sit and listen to...I know he will be missed by many.

Bob ny..I was late on the poll...but my keyboard has coffee stains, crumbs, sunflower seed shells down in it, and when Ian is on the computer, the cockateil Sasha likes to "help" and she runs all over the keyboard, and every now and then makes an oops on it. Not to long ago, I turned it upside down to see what would fall out....oh...the

Alias...Thanks for the laughs...and I think the moon and stuff does affect us...I mean look at the Farmers ALmanac, it affects nature, plants, etc, why not us...ya know? Missed ya these past days XOXO Where has Fern been? See he hasn't posted?

Steve...I see politics are alive and well here ;) thanks to ON the gas thing, Ian will be getting him a motorcycle out of the high gas prices deal, he wants one anyway...and he has us going to look at 31 acres on the Alabama line I figure he is gonna need it to get to work and back, but its gonna scare me to will take some getting used to... I think motorcycles are kinda scary...we had a friend that wrecked his going only 35 mph, and he messed him and the bike up bad. :(

Well...its good to be back. I must admit I got a lot done while we were internetless. The house is spotless, the bathroom is even clean, I hate cleaning the bathroom. All the laundry is done, everything vacuumed, cleaned, dusted, washed, folded, put away. The birds cages even got a good scrubbing. Its nice to get back on here...I missed all of you. :)

That ole barber was quite a character he always wanted me to come over a ride horses with him but I never made it over ( back when I was a teenager ) Then I moved away for years , got married and started a family .
My wife cuts my hair and has for years and with a straight razor I might add . The one she uses has replaceable blades and a guard . until she shaves my neck then she takes the guard off to do that .So far I have always been on good terms with her so I haven't been to nervous. Grin .
When my hair gets to long for me which is not real long I comb it so it stands up and sticks out and walk around till she says some thing about it . Like I suppose you want a hair cut . I say , who me , naw, I like it this way ..
so if she isn't to tired she'll cut it .
