Mine went pretty good. Got some field wotk done before we got a light rain late this afternoon, but it doesn't look like enough it keep us out for long.

Worked with Cliff and a couple of my other farming buddies. Thinking about taking Cliff on as a business partner. {Somebody slap me please}LOL

We all went to town for supper at the local farmer hangout. Had porkchops. Yummmyyy..

Old Betsy the faithful old farm truck made it home ok. And as an added bonus the windshield wipers worked. But for some reason they won't turn off. Oh well, a little scraping on a dry windshield when the rain lets up beats not being able to see when it starts pouring again.

Drank waaaayy too much coffee with the porkchops. So now I probably won't get to sleep tonight.

Oh well, it's a great life
if ya don't weaken, and I don't plan to weaken!!

hmmm well...what DID I do today. Since I have been busting rear end for days on the house...I guess today I didn't do I took Shelby to school, almost took out the front end of the truck with the dead deer, that was exciting...went and had coffee with Mama and Daddy, took off for home and met Karen for a chat. After she left I thought about doing something constructive, but...I decided to sit and read for a bit, and I did...until I fell asleep and took a nap. Then I woke up and went to get Shelby from school, we came home, the phone man was here, he fixed us up, I got supper ready, ate, got online, been here just about ever since, minor interruptions...which are gone now...I have the place to myself. Sometimes you just have to tell everybody to go to bed, shut up, go to work, cover the noisy birds, shut it all down so you can have a few moments to yourself, ya know??? Today was easy early on. Its when Ian got up, and Shelby got home that things change. I love my family, but man are they slobs. I have been cracking the whip ever since I cleaned the house. I am not going to pick up anybody elses messes any more! Okay..I am gonna go take a prozac and a shower...then I will be back on level ground..sigh...
