Not yet we have to hear Kerry complain how Bush stoled the election first for a few weeks. Won't be long now till we get back to some real news on TV and see if the real world is still there! Mark H.

well from a non US preceptive i can tell you i think most of the world is watching you folks down there, our news is all about the american elections,BBCis too, more coverage than when we have our own elections.i hope it goes well for you folks and i hope the polls are wrong and there is a clear cut winner, no courts and all that stuff again,on our news they keep callin it a nation divided i hope that when it is over you are a nation united, wishin you folks all the best from here.

Part that I can't figure is how it got so split down the middle that they will take a older person into a booth and tell them vote for this person? Make up vote from dead people ect. If it is that close people will do that to get there person in we are becoming a sad state of afairs. My vote don't even count living where I live 99% are replubicans but the West Coast/Seattle city people out number us so much that it does not matter what we think it will allways be a Democrat State here in Washington with the electorial vote. Mark H.

Heck by the time they even get close to even counting our votes and us finishing voting here they all ready know who won? Kind of like wondering do you want to say you voted for the looser anyway or winner depending on who you vote for?? Our problem is we like having room to strech being in the country and the Big Citys seem to vote different even tho our County is the biggest in the State of Washington our votes are not enought to make any differents in the election. Mark H.

Burrhead    Posted 10-29-2004 at 21:25:34       [Reply]  [No Email]
I hope it's clear cut either way too Mark.

I think what splits folks so bad is listening to the TV and radio. No matter which way you are they pump you with disinfo.

No matter if it's open air media or ratwing talk shows they all lean too far with little or no fact on either side.

Folks that dont take the time or have the ambition to learn for themselves get led to the slaughter.

Dave2N    Posted 10-30-2004 at 14:53:42       [Reply]  [Send Email]
There's only one way they pump you with disinformation and that is toward the LEFT. You should know that Burr-that "under-the-table money you get from your buddy Dan Blather is no secret.

Burr thats one of the more sensible political posts that you have placed on these forums, thank you for no retoric and plain BS, just the plain truth. I too, would rather see my man clearly defeated than face the fiasco the lawyers on both sides are preparing in case it is close. We realy dont need doubt placed upon our elections. It is bad enough that some wise person has outsiders watching our process, just who was the brains behind that crap anyway? Guess Ill take the BS part in a different light now that I understand that you too, actualy understand.

I listen to different stations once in a while and it is like Black and White on how they talk about the other guy! At least when it is regular news it is harder to tell how they feel. It will be nice when it is over and we can pray it works out for the best. Since it is the people we don't realy vote for that run the US you never know till later on. Takes a lot to bring the US down!! There is allways another election in 4 years. Mark H.

toolman    Posted 10-29-2004 at 21:23:03       [Reply]  [No Email]
thats the same here too, they used to know who our PM would be before our polls even closed out here, they even tried a tv blackout and wouldn,t allow the results to be know from back east until our polls closed but somebody from vancouver run the results on the internet, two hours before the polls closed in van we already had a prime minster elected to run our country

Willy-N    Posted 10-29-2004 at 21:26:06       [Reply]  [No Email]
Makes you want to run right down and vote don't it! Guess you need tempory residents in a area that has a lot of people and further back east just during voting time so it will count. Mark H.
