I have only been on here for a few months, and have really enjoyed it.Recently,I have posted some political stuff...made a few comments.I want to apologize for that to all of you.I'm swearin off posting politics..I am not going to try to change anybody's opinion.I feel like you are ALL good people.I hope I'm still welcome here.If I am,I plan on posting some good "getting ready for winter battery advice" next week.If I'm not welcome anymore, maybe some of you longtimers should tell me to hike out.Have a great Sunday. Mark in Kansas..feeling kinda sheepish

Don't fret MW/Ks. It's just a thing. We're just a very large dis-funtional family. WELCOME!

Go ahead and post politically, at least for a couple of more days. Figger this site is for what is on country folks minds and right now that happens to be elections quite a bit. After the elections it will be the election results, and after that it'll probably be spring!8^D

You don't need permission to be here and responses to your post is vindication enough. Relax, you're home. I'm a fairly newcomer myself and am surprised by how quickly freindships are developed here. As for some folks not getting along...they must be getting something they enjoy out of it or they wouldn't do it. Sit back and enjoy it yourself or simply skip those posts. I wish some people would post more often, won't name names for fear of leaving someone out, but they all eventually do post and thats what makes this site worth coming back to.

Hi there Mark in Ks. I doesn't bother me if you want to post political subject matter. Cause, I may not agree with your viewpoint. But, I fully acknowledge your right to your opinion. My only concern is that folks should make an opinion based on what is logically sound and not on what they have been brainwashed to believe. So, from where I stand, nothing you have posted is as bad as the ongoing saga of Burrhead and Clod. .......gfp

stick around mark , i enjoy reading your posts ,that battery advice sounds like a good idea, lot of folks get stranded because of weak battries and cold temps.

A new Battry to replace a weak older one in the begining of a cold winter is much cheaper and easier to deal with than a long walk to a phone booth to call a wrecker for a jump! Been there befor put 2 battrys in my Chevy after one died on me during a winter once. Mark H.

going back in time, that is the only time I miss being able to crank my car. I cranked a model A, 31 chevy, 36 chevy 37 ford,33 ford, when batteries were low. Dang chevy had to be cranked even in summer, bad bendix. Sometimes you guys bring back some rotten memories

Two subjects I try to avoid if at all possible are politics and religion. In my opinion all anybody can have are opinions, to which everybody is entitled, but they are just that: Opinions. Just because a person doesn't adamantly express their opinion doesn't mean that they don't have one,, or are uninformed.
I'm not the boss of the board, but I'm sure you are an asset to the board whether you choose to discuss politics or not.

But of course, that's just my OPINION!

I have posted the exact same thing quite awhile ago, and got flammed for voicing that opinion.... there is no winning on discussions on these two subjects.....

A bit of a snow flurry late this afternoon...nothing serious...don't know where Toolman and Mark are getting their weather from, don't think it is from this way...maybe sliding down the other side of the first range..... have a gooder, R.E.L.
