All the Polls are leaning to Kerry But Bushes Lawyers say they will protest the count. They have already lost half the votes from Fla. Only in america !!

Quint    Posted 11-01-2004 at 18:53:40       [Reply]  [No Email]
I just don't see how Bush can overcome the incredibly biased coverage of the media, the countless millions of foreign dollars being spent against him and most of all the simply unprecedented level of voter fraud this year.

We will end up with probably the most liberal man in in the Senate - Kerry- in the white house. He will appoint several liberal supreme court justices which will be a total disaster as far as our constitution goes. We can look forward to having east/west coast urban interests further pushing their twisted agendas on us simple backward rural folk.

Unfortunately things are going to get much, much worse before there is any hope of them getting better.

Like the election results, I pray I am wrong but I am afraid I'm not.

Quint,

Don't give up hope on the American people. It may look bleak, but in the end I believe we all will do the right thing. UBL's tape should nail it for the majority of standup folks!

Let's face it, this election has one main focus and that is the security of this nation. UBL helped make that point very, very clear.

And one final point to all those who moan and complain about our "choices"! Bush helped offset a recession with a tax cut for everyone, he fought back terrorism, passed a drug perscription plan for the elderly, passed No Child Left Behind (and funded it with $15 Billion, so don't start moaning about not funding it! The funds are at the state level.) He has performed remarkably well during his first term! Skip what the media tells you and think for yourself, we have a GREAT President in Bush. JMHO based on facts!!!

Bush by 10!

Bless your heart, Dug, you may be new here but I like you, too.

I am an eternal optimist and I am praying that you are right.

Kerry of course    Posted 11-01-2004 at 17:15:23       [Reply]  [No Email]
how can he lose when he is going to get most all the hispanic votes? After all, he is going to give all of them citizenship when elected. Can't forget the blacks either, He is going to HELP them
up the ladder by throwing money at them. STILL
You think there are a lot of them from across the border, you ain't seen nothng yet

I don't know yet who will win. Ask me again Wednesday, my crystal ball will be clearer then.

It's a proven fact that half of all candidates for public office become losers.

Kokanee    Posted 11-01-2004 at 14:53:09       [Reply]  [No Email]
Historically usually the looser wins. At least on this side of the gate.

Does anyone remember when the day before the election, Dukakis (sp) was 10 points ahead in the polls? If i remember correctly he carried 3 states. I hope we have a clear winner. This putting it in the courts just means 4 more years as a divided nation.

I can tell you this: I know who will lose. We, the American public, will lose in this mess. As far as I'm concerned, we've already lost a great deal.

This is the first and last response I'll make to any political posting. I'm Donna from Mo and I approve this message.

Thank you Donna    Posted 11-01-2004 at 14:12:08       [Reply]  [No Email]
Sometimes you would like to flush them all down and start over !!!!!

most of us would like to see a decisive victory and leave the lawyers and courts out of our election.

nother thing--    Posted 11-01-2004 at 13:34:29       [Reply]  [No Email]
do you really believe polls? they can craft questions to get the answers they want.

i worked on a house for a pollster years ago. he told us that a poll was like an appraisal on a property. first thing an appraser is likely to do is ask what the sale price was.

also-- reuters- zagsby poll put bush up by one.
so? what the heck---

friend of mine told me that a logistics prof in college told him this:

"figures dont lie, but liars always figure."

i dont care a wit for a poll. i do care that we get a honest and fair election, and the only way it can happen is with a clear victory.

toolman    Posted 11-01-2004 at 13:53:53       [Reply]  [No Email]
there is alot of intrest worldwide in your election , and that is true here, i hope it goes well for you all and doesn,t end up in the courts to decide, i hope the polls are wrong and there is a clear winner, i wish all the best for you down there during this time and pray that all goes well for you.God Bless

You are right Toolman, the world is watching. I just wish they all had your view about it.
Seems to me that they all want some control in it.
