More places should do that. I have never heard of them befor guess I don't get out of town much. I would take them up on it if we had one in our little hick town I live near. Mark H.

This never got much attention till last year. It all started several years ago, bout 9 as I recall when the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) was looking for money to purchase more vans for transportation to and from the VA hospitals. Started out by asking for donations, and just GREW from there. Now each Nov they feed all vets for free. That doesn't even count the meals the give away at the Stand Downs the DAV hosts throughout the year.

Whew; It will cost em only in the short term. They will make it up when thousands of guys like me go into a Golden Corral for dinner. Good ideas and good deeds is an unbeatable combination. This is what makes this country great.

Not a vet, but I am an American who appreciates all vets who served.

That was true last year in Baytown Texas because I went there to see. I got a free meal too but gave the waitress a tip that would have paid for the meal. I think Golden Coral upper management is very nice to do this .It cost a lot of money. Thanks Golden Coral.
