the three major minority groups in america got GWB re-elected. african americans, hispanic americans and female americans. kinda ironic ain't it?

somone talked about lazy stayn at home moms, and someone mentioned their mom and how she raised 5 kids, and helped run the farm. WELL, My mom was born in 1908, She Was a stay at home mom as far as I knew off and on till the mid 50s and then she worked till she retired. Plus raised 3 boys, put up hundreds of jars of vegetables each year and kept up a old 2 storie farm house. The point is, girls born in the 60s on up aint like the mom mentioned or mine, and theres not going to ever be many of them again, and the number deminishes with each generation. SO, why bring up about how hard a worker our moms were. They might as well have been a third sex, now extenct. There history. Most moms who stay at home how, are just as described below. lazy. wanting the car, so as to drive all over all day long, and the house looks like heck when their husband gets home from work. Ive seen both types of moms, been married to 2, outa 3 women born tween 48 and 56. A slight difference to the worse the younger they were, but nothing to write home about as far as industrious

Not ironic at all. Those groups are a subset of Americans, and contrary to what the news implies, they aren't all bubble-headed idjuts.

i know some honkeys who voted for bush. or maybe i should say white-adult-male-americans.

I've read some strange comments but yours almost takes the cake. Since when are American women part of a minority group? And if your statistical quote is correct, what's your point? I think they are as American as you or I since they had a vote, one each if my research is correct. Somehow I remember my grandfather coming over from Europe from what I've been told and yours likely came from somewhere else unless you are a native American Indian. Obviously you weren't happy about the outcome. Who was it that voted for the other guy then? He almost got as many votes.

as a voting block they (women) have always been a minority.

Someone has had their head in the sand. Females have long been considered a voting minority.

By their own choice???

Well, if they don't get out and vote, then the answer to your question is yes. Not to mention the fact that female workers, particularly black female workers, are certainly considered a minority.

That's about 180 out of time from the results I saw.

polls are only the results of people asked who they voted for not necessary who they voted for

Ron/PA    Posted 11-04-2004 at 05:34:51       [Reply]  [No Email]
I wouldn't tell the truth to a pollster if they paid me a million bucks. Stinkin nosey buggers.

huh????

bob ny    Posted 11-04-2004 at 05:27:09       [Reply]  [No Email]
when you fill out a poll do you always tell ythe truth or do you tell them what they want to hear

steve19438    Posted 11-04-2004 at 05:49:43       [Reply]  [Send Email]
so what your saying is american voters are liars? i would think most people are proud to vote, as ia am, and are proud to say who they voted for. why lie???

steve19438    Posted 11-04-2004 at 05:20:34       [Reply]  [Send Email]
dig a little deeper in your research. bush gained in all three voting blocks, particularly among married women and hispanics.

Ron/PA    Posted 11-04-2004 at 05:33:35       [Reply]  [No Email]
He may have gained, but they certainly weren't the voters that put him in office.
Ron

Alias    Posted 11-04-2004 at 05:33:17       [Reply]  [No Email]
Steve, That's right, he did gain a little bit in all three catagories. Now, what exactly does that mean? Well, let me give you a clue. he gained a little from farmers, factory workers, lazy stay at home moms, hard working second income providers, firemen, national guardsmen/women, welfare receipitants, senior citizens, and the list goes on and on. But, they all have one thing in common; they are American. So, what's your point here? Do you feel betrayed by those people that exercised their right as voters.

I think you should get over it and stick with making gravy, While I gloat a little more...gfp

steve19438    Posted 11-04-2004 at 05:53:58       [Reply]  [Send Email]
point is bush is a conservative.

~Lenore    Posted 11-04-2004 at 10:02:25       [Reply]  [No Email]
Yes and more and more Americans are beginning to find they are more to the right than the far out left leaners.
I think we can thank the liberal media for it too.
Folks are beginning to see right through their liberal agenda and thinking, "That is not what I think or believe".
It has taken a while for them to figure it out but than goodness better late than never as the saying goes.

big fred    Posted 11-04-2004 at 07:46:30       [Reply]  [No Email]
So are Walter Williams, Thomas Sowell, Michelle Malkin, Suzanne Fields and Mona Charen. That's 3 blacks, three wimmens, and a Jew, and it's also a list of 5 of my favorite newspaper columnists...

Alias    Posted 11-04-2004 at 06:54:54       [Reply]  [No Email]
Steve, I just love the reasoning you give.

So, what you're saying is that women, blacks and hispanics are all liberal. C'mon man. where do you get these ideas? .......gfp

i'm sure    Posted 11-04-2004 at 06:35:09       [Reply]  [No Email]
that you are not implying that all stay at home moms are lazy

lazy stay at home moms,

I was wondering    Posted 11-04-2004 at 08:30:18       [Reply]  [No Email]
when somebody would catch that. yep my ma was a lazy stay at home mother. lets see here she raised 5 well adjusted children, and then taught us how to raise our kids, cooked and cleaned a huge house and helped around the farm. i wonder what that ole gal did with all her spare time? LOL!

Ron/PA    Posted 11-04-2004 at 05:57:56       [Reply]  [No Email]
