My diet is sure slow! Lost 1 pound so far

Boy it is hard to lose weight never tried befor and all this time by cutting down just a little I have lost around a pound! At this rate it will take to Jan to lose 15 lbs!! Mark H.

I lost 27 pounds since last February. Cut out most all carbohydrates, ate a lot more meat & fish and green vegetables. Didn't really exercise any more than normal. Still had the daily dark chocolate bar. Darn hard to stay away from the cookies, bread and doughnuts. Never much liked potato chips or french fries. I seem to be stuck at 210, but with the colder weather settin in, I allowed myself some carbs. Good luck! eating habits are sure hard to change.

i just weighted myself i weigh 192 a good weight for me is 170 to 175, thats where i feel good(best ) at, maybe i,ll try a drop about a dozen pounds.

Dressed for winter I am 136 right now if I was not dressed it would be 132 so getting there slowly. Mark H.

i was 202 a week or so ago but i been busy poundin posts and building fence so i dropped 10 lbs, 192 outa the shower, isn,t too bad for me but my back and legs give me lots of problems , i do real well at 170 something to shoot for have to get back on my weights too, if my arms are stronger it helps with my back.

Pounds lost slowly are gone for good. Mainly as a resault of learning good eating and excercize habits that will stay with you. Pounds lost fast, generally lost fast do to fad diets and gimmics generally return along with a few new friends once the diet is over.

I can't do any fad diets I only weigh 136 lbs and would get sick fast if I did. 5 fast pounds on me means I got sick. I am just tring to trim down to what I was about 15 years ago close to a pound a year was gained. Mark H.

Look as one pound that is gone for good...I lost 127 pounds over a years time...seemed at times it would never change but just kept on doing what I was doing and first thing you know I went from a size 24 to a 6..KatG

Mark don't go on a diet. Change your life style. Eliminate refined sugar from your diet. Drink at least 100 oz of water daily. Many times you will mistake hunger for thirst. Don't miss meals and eat fruit between them. Be sure to eat for proper nutrition. Don't weigh your self but once a week or so. Never but never buy snacks or drinks when you gas up or stop for a pack of smokes. These are some of the things that I've been doing for several months now. Don't know about any weight loss. I can't get near the scales because of the cast on my leg. But, I feel 100% better and I am looking at this long term and I feel that I will lose some weight and with my life style I should be able to maintain it. hth

That sorta is what I am doing. I don't drink alcohal or any soft drinks just coffie & water but I have cut that down because I put some sugar in it. I left out one peice of toast in the morning so I only eat one and a egg for breakfast. Lunch is some warm soup and diner is 3 portions of something including meat, I only have one scoop of ice cream at night befor bed. No snacks on the road and never any fast food it does not get along with me. Mark H.

yeah, taking off about 50 lbs would help my knee too, but the knee knocks the activity level down. Kind of a two edged sword.

you wanna loose weight quick? Bring a boatload of commitment and follow this...

two fruits for breakfast, no milk, water or black coffee, no sugar, no creamer

4 to 5 vegetables and one meat portion for lunch, no soda of any kind, water

no supper, V8 Juice, or Cranberry juice, water for the remainder of the night.

No snacks, no desert, no alcohol

Maintain you usual activity level

Feeling hungry and empty, water

alrigh gar, but first where in the heck do i get this boat load of commitment, i needs to be on a diet ,not for weight loss but i just ain,t got that commitment, can,t drive past a fast food shack or a isle in the supermarket without downloading the twinkles

Commitment? If you are married ask your spouse, cause you surely, as all who have stayed, have given at least one boatload to maintain the relationship.

yabut the relationship isn,t a twinkie, i can not pass up junk food , i have high colestrol , high bp , a family history of heart disease , my dad passed not too long ago as did all his brothers and most of his sis, 18 in family and i know this but i just don,t learn, wife says im a hearded sob always have been and always will be i guess, i know i have to do things but as ret says above work is something that needs to be done but by the time your finished your too sore to exercise, i used to walk all over the place eveynight haven,t in two years now because of pain.we all learn the hard way it seems .

you have to put it in preciptive, you don,t weight alot to begin with so when you loose a pound of your total weight it is more that someone weighing 250 only losing a lb.

Sure hope so the nice cup cakes my wife baked are not being ate and they sure did look good. I cut about 1/4 of what I eat off so I should start losing something. Mark H.

Have your wife try making your sweets with splenda. I replaced most of my suger intake with it cant tast the differance.

hey you just tell your wife so she don,t have to waste them cupcakes to throw them in a bag an mail them on up to me , im not on a diet yet allthough i should be ,haha
