Gerrit, I am interested in inquiring further about the reference you make to soy in the dog food post down below. If you would consider emailing me so that I might reply off the board I'd appreciate it so much.

By the way, Gerrit, if you do email me, would you post a message here on the site letting me know. I haven't received any email in about two days and I'm wondering if AOL has a problem - I usually receive many emails per day.

No, it licked me.
It apparently was the pump itself. I tried EVERYTHING that was suggested to me short of replacing the pump itself. It seems like it just isn't pumping hard enough? But I did switch the wiring back to its original configuration instead of running it off an extension cord in case dropped amperage could have been the problem - no change.
Since I only use it for a backup water source, I haven't bit the bullet and bought a new one yet. (What I really wish is that I could borrow one somehow and verify that is really the problem.)
Thanks for asking

running it off that extension cord may have been what did it in, and it doesn,t take but a few minutes without enough amperage

Judy, My son just had a new well drilled and a submerable pump put in.He said he was going to bring the old pump to me when he got everything hooked up. Its mine anyway and we know it works. I dont know what shipping will be but when he does bring it i will try my best to send it to you. I have always heard if you try you will, so we have to wait until he pulls it out of the well then i can box it up and when Jenny and i come to Anderson SC to the flea market i can ship it on from there. Take care James PS i need an address i left my addy open
