okay ya got me i'll confess. i never use toothpaste - rarely have bad breath and my teeth are 60 years old - lotsa fillings but i think i've only had 3 capped so far. i attribute that to the mineral-rich water we had on the farm.

let me tell you the whole story: of course listerine kills germs that cause bad breath - vodka or any other alcohol will do the same thing. what they don't mention is that it also kills the germs that keep your breath clean so after using it, sure enough you decimated everything so next morning you need more alcohol cuz you upset your mouth's defenses and booze breath can be nasty! bingo you've been duped. again.

throw the toothcrap away, use a wet washcloth to keep your teeth white, if you want an abrasive to clean your teeth, use baking soda. it's about as neutral as anything and saves your mouth a lotta needless strife..it takes a couple weeks to let your mouth microbes stabilize and tell them i said so. :)

I'm with Chad. But not really because it's cheap. That's all I have ever used cause I remember going to my grandparents house when I was only knee high to a grasshopper and that's what they used and it tasted sooo good, so needless to say that's what I have used since i was about 5 or so.
