Pull Behind ATV Mower

Does anyone out there own or have ever used one of those mowers you pull behind a 4-wheeler? I am thinking about getting one to mow a grassy hillside that is a little steep. I have been doing it with the tractor but not very well. Any recommendations? Brands to buy? THANKS!

Have a Haban, 48" cut - 8hp B&S engine. Very happy with it, once I got the bugs out of it, due to careless assembly at the factory. Haban is no more, but I have seen the same unit wearing the Ag-Fab label at a Quality store. Quality is no more, SIGH......

With the growing popularity of ATVs and the waning of snowmobiles etc, we can expect all kinds of towable/mountable ATV accessories to come around. (Don't worry - they can be bought with PTOs.) Why not dream one up? If it fills a need, might be a shortcut to Easy Street! It doesn't take much nowdays - Heck, the gal who patented diapers with attached baby-wipes is making a fortune! One kid out West sells re-cycled balls on the net and grosses $50000/month. :)

Husky,Swisherr,Cycle Country,Agri-Fab.Swisherr HD(50",13hp) model and Cycle country (48",12.5hp)seem to be heavier built than some. Both rated for 1"brush.Smaller units are kinda grass/weeds only type.Dunno about the Husky, never seen one.

My neighbor has one of the brands that TSC sells which I think is Husky. They use it to mow their cow lot and it works really good on fairly tall weeds and grass. I cant remember right off hand but I think it's the 48 inch cut model and they've had no problems at all in the few years they've had it.
