Did you tote that M-60 alla time you were there?

Willy-N    Posted 11-11-2004 at 12:04:24       [Reply]  [No Email]
Only when I was in the gun pit on the perimeter next to the wire. Most of the time I would be out in the barb wire climing poles to change perimeter lights so we could see at night. When not doing that I would ride shot gun on convoys in a Gun Truck or 5 to 10 ton trucks hauling equipment. I also ran a generator for power on our Fire Base along with running the wires to the commo shacks and outside lighting along the perimeter. I did get a little Land Clearing in on a Dozer since I was a Combat Engineer trained to opperate a Dozer. Mark H.
