I wanted to let you know that my Mandy is starting to "get it" with the frisbee. She'll bring it back to me and drop it at my feet most of the time now. So far she won't try to get it in mid-air, but it's fun to play the game with her now, anyhow. Today she kept following the shadow instead of the actual Frisbee, then was shocked to see it land somewhere off behind her.

I've had a big problem with her pulling against the leash, but I was at Pet Smart today and bought a "good dog" collar. After just ten minutes with that, she's acting like a different dog. It's so much fun to watch her develop. This dog has given me more belly-laughs than anybody has a right to! Now if I can just get her to follow a few rules, she'll be perfect.

I know what you mean about those laughs they give you. I can't tell you how many times I have just laughed and laughed over the goofy antics of Tip. Did you get the soft frisbee I was talking about? When Tip was younger I used regular hard plastic frisbees, but I discovered when she caught them, it busted the back of her mouth where her jaws came together, so I got some of those soft frisbees from Walmart. Petsmart has them too, but they are twice as much.

I had the pulling going on too, I discovered a harness worked better for her. She doesnt pull anymore, if she feels any stress on it she backs off.

I am so glad you are getting so much fun out of your baby dog. They are really wonderful arent they? :)

I have a soft Frisbee that I paid way too much for at the Missouri State Fair, at the show with the trained dogs. But hey, it's also a souvenir!
