stayed up in my tree stand longer than usual a few years back. it got warm and i had a good book to add to the pleasure. by 8:00 a.m. there was no game moving. by 11:30 out came 2 fox. they circled one another then ran for each other. up on their hind legs they went. they hugged at one another's necks and slapped like at each other. lasted only a few seconds or so. then the ran off together. it still amazes me. i have often wondered if they were litter mates.

i was traveling across iowa once and there was a nice big green corral with pretty nice horses in it. and a few scattered sticks like old branches. well 2 of the horses were picking the stick up in their mouths, tossing it around and playing keep-away! never saw that before. :)

Nature is far beyond my meager understanding, but I never tire of studying it.
