There ain't much this old gal won't tackle...But I was introduced to something today that has got me resting....Back last summer MAtt bought a David Bradley walk begind tractor and all the implements...Then had to put a new motor on that time the cows came along so didn't get to plant much but mustard and turnips greens...
This morning I decided to hang around with him today and see what plowing was like...Lord have mercy~~~~He showed me how to use it and turned me in the pasture...We decided to plow the pasture and try to plant some type of grass and maybe choke out the wild garlic...
That tractor was probably made the same year I was borned but I tell you it whipped this gals butt...MAtt's got a 8HP Briggs and Stratton on it and man does it run...I was flying around that feild...It was a pulling me and I was trying to guide it and hold on...Going straight was okay but turning them corners got kinda hairy...MAtt has no problem but then he is almost a foot talller than me and near 80 pounds heavier...But I am not one to not do something...I plowed almost and acre with it ...every inch of my body feels it too...MAtt came in ...ate and went to plow somemore...I feel guilty I am not up there helping him...Well shoot..Putting the rubber boots back on and headed up the mountain...break the land with my
I admire those folks who have used one of those tractors and still make gardens and such with it...Hell of a man or may not can

now why is it she's out there trying to tame an antiquee dirt killer & i'm in here trying to invent a 2-ingrediment muffin recipe - snow might play a part - the cat keeps me away from thin ice on the lake - but once it's 1/4" thick, he's all over it - "whut am i waiting for?" :)
