Well last friday I lost my job,,,after being there six months I am told that I didnt do a good job and let go, so I filed for unemployment and started today to look for a job. I went to an interview and was told you will be called, we have 35 applicants for one position. I dont know who said this but "If it wasnt for bad luck I wouldnt have any."

Don't be discouraged. You have unemployment that will buy you some time. I don't know what kind of job you had but it may not have been entirely your fault. Check out your local colleges for some training in a field that you may be interested in. Work up a good resume to submit to employers. Dress and groom yourself properly. Search the internet for tips on how to conduct yourself in an interview. Be confident and positive. Learn as much about the company befor you go for the interview. You must sell your self to the interviewer. Be relaxed and present a good appearance. Sit up straight and greet him/her with a hand shake. Say now more than what you are being asked. Be short an to the point.

Sorry to hear that, thats rough, soon as you get into a job and get situated you get sent on your way. :( I am hoping to hear from Petsmart soon. I just want to make a little extra income toeae paying the bills. Just enough for gas and grocery money would be good.

Rotten luck, seahag. Being at the mercy of another person, as far as having an income, is rough. They can find reasons for the darndest things. We gonna put you in our prayers that you find a better job than the one you left, and will find that, in the long run, this was the best thing could have happened to you! Good luck and keep your chin up.

sorry to hear that, i know it is hard but look at it as something that happened for a reason, now you have time to explore other things, one thing that comes to mind is self employment, work for yourself . lots of bussiness need janitorial services for one and there are lots of other things you can do, best of all you work for you, harder you work more money stays in your pocket ,best of luck to you we have all been there for one reason or another.
