Well, Ian is going to try to get a conventional loan through the credit union. He says he is going to stop by and talk to them either today, tomorrow or Wednesday, since they have him working on days for three days.

The old guy that owns the place and the land won't get a termite letter. We now think its because it would be a waste of time for both parties. There are a lot of new rules and laws that have been put into place in thepast 10 years. They moved that manufactured home there in 1985. Since then, there are new specifications for mounting a mobile home and also no mobile home over 10 years old can be placed on your land. We looked at everything pretty good. The house is on propane and electric. The well pump looks new, and we think its on city water also, got to double check that. May have that done any way. There was a soft spot where the fridge had been sitting, probably leaked. Have to put a jack under that probably, just to be safe. Other than that, the house just needs a little cleaning and vacuuming and painting. The paint colors they used were awful, baby pink, ewww.

We don't plan on that being our permanent residence anyway. We are going to have a Palm Harbor home put on the land further back on the land or have one built, but thats way in the future.

The only reason they would turn him down is because of me. I am not proud of it, but I ran up some debt on credit cards. ONe of those situations where less money began coming in a few years ago, so I didn't tone our lifestyle down down to match it. I never spent on anything unnecessary, it just built up. It may affect them giving him the loan though. I sure hope not.

Since all of this, I have given over all financial control to him. I just couldn't carry the load anymore. He is going to get things squared away. We do have this house we are in to put against the other, which is a BIG plus. I sure hope its enough plus for them to give us the loan. Our payments would be about the same on the new house as what we were paying here, so it wouldn't be a strain, just be in a new place.

So, what have you got moving and encroaching in on you?

well i sure hope it all works out for you, i know how much it means to you and it would be great for shelby and TIP too haha, . ian would love it too im sure , it is not uncommon here to drive a hour an a half or more to work some of the mines are that far away, too.as for us we would stay here for the rest of our lives but this is a tourists place now big money around i was offered a bunch just last week turned it down though, but others ,not all, but some are ready to sell out turn the little valley into a subdivison,i was at a meeting recently where they expressed a desire to SELL OUT our little farm community, i have fought for 25 years for this place and to be honest im very tired and fed up with people and their greed , stupidty ect.they are being led down a path where they will not get rich like they are being told but the DEVELOPERS will, it is sad but like i said im just too tired and it is making me sick again(the sickness that nearly killed me a couple years ago) so we have had enough and are looking for a place way out where it is only animals we have to rely on rather than humans, haha.goin to another area way down the road if it don,t snow before then, that is probably the area where we will end up , nicer climate not as much snow ,it will take a couple of years probably to get everything done but we made our minds up now to move and we want to know the place where we,ll move . find out all about it etc.
