... he was shot at first. And hurled racial epithets at, too. Yeah, right, that's the first thing I'd do is shoot at an armed man. And weren't they almost all unarmed?

Unarmed hunters?    Posted 11-23-2004 at 16:32:22       [Reply]  [No Email]
What's up with that?

I don't know Les,was'nt there, but many folks here"attend"or visit hunting camp for the fellowship and tradition, even if not actively hunting. Some of these camps are virtually a vacation retreat, not just a tarpaper shack in the woods.

Okay. I understand that. And what mud said, too.
Here in NH, I suppose there might be something like that but I would guess it quite unlikely.
Also, we don't get excited about trespassers like folks almost everywhere else seem to do. But I can see the day coming when the "right of trespass" will be just a memory here as well.

I'll bet he was also molested as a child. Thus, the hunters he killed had it coming. One news paper said his group, tribe, clan, gang, or whatever had no concept of "private property". What a crock! He'll wind up the out-gunned hero. And then the tree huggers will want my SKS. (They ain't gone git it). :)
