since ya insist on being political. only conservatives and republicans could be happy over the finding of the elusive "WMD's".

Zenia    Posted 11-25-2004 at 22:28:55       [Reply]  [No Email]
That's a rather non-news article. The Iraqi Guard found a chemical lab but the Marines aren't sure about it, no one seems to know, do they? It is not the missing WMD. Liberals might be happy if the WMD were found, but conservatives ought to be happier.

NO.

I suspect they will not be happy until 2008,
and only if they get a Democrat elected president.

They could do that easily if they would campaign for school prayer, against abortion and against same s*x marriage. If they did that loudly and and sincerely, they would win across the board in a landslide.

The majority of Americans would vote for them and all their "faithful" would continue to vote Democrat. They would lose a small minority of abortion rights and Gay rights voters. Even though it would get them victory, I do not see them doing it.

Zenia    Posted 11-26-2004 at 08:26:00       [Reply]  [No Email]
Yes I suppose if either side gave up their principles en mass then there would be a landslide, right?

Dug    Posted 11-25-2004 at 20:42:56       [Reply]  [No Email]
Lenore,

Ya gotta stop tellin' the libs what it takes to win. They just might smarten up one o these days and foller yer instructions!

Happy and liberals should not be used in the same sentence. contradiction of terms.

Burrhead    Posted 11-25-2004 at 17:11:53       [Reply]  [No Email]
That might not be completely right Ron. I know since I switched over to ratwing I'm not near so happy as I was. Since I got brainwashed when I can't find a liberal to blame with everything from gout to UFOs I get kinda depressed.

Ratwingers seem to want to hunt something to worry about all the time and then whine about it. Then when everything turns out all screwed up they hunt an innocent leftwinger to blame the screw up on. Works good for kids but it looks a little out of place amongst grown ups.

These new ratwinger leaders that are converting me do something else I don't understand. They wanna whine all time about things they could change if they could.

Right now they're on a pray in school crusade. Nobody ever outlawed praying at home so my solution would be to pray at home and the school deal will work itself out on it's own.

Dug    Posted 11-25-2004 at 20:35:48       [Reply]  [Send Email]
Burrhead,

You seem to be a bit confused. Perhaps your definition of rightwing and leftwing are twisted?

DUG

RN    Posted 11-25-2004 at 20:44:12       [Reply]  [No Email]
The antonym of 'rightwing' is 'wrongwing'?

Burrhead    Posted 11-25-2004 at 21:02:45       [Reply]  [No Email]
just reportin the facts Dug. Them new ratwing brudders spend more time hunting something to blame somebody with than they do on any other matter.

I did'nt make them that way. They were in this condition when they converted me.

One good thing about them lazy good for nuthin wrongwingers is they could stay on target.

ron,ar    Posted 11-25-2004 at 18:02:28       [Reply]  [No Email]
I got news for folks, there ain't no state that ever outlawed prayer in school. Anybody that wants to pray in school can, no matter what his or her religion. They just can't have organized prayer or pray out loud. Students also may not talk out loud most of the time anyway.
The biggest deal I see is the elimination of a prayer before organized events like football games and graduation exercises. These are the acts against prayer that incite the middle class against liberal ideas.

Chas in Me    Posted 11-25-2004 at 18:07:11       [Reply]  [No Email]
Doesn't NASCAR have a prayer before each race?

Burrhead    Posted 11-25-2004 at 18:30:24       [Reply]  [No Email]
dunno about Nascar prayers Chas but we still have public prayer before rodeo events around here.

Ron I think it all gets blown out of proportions in the public's eye.

The only 2 prayer complaints I ever personally saw and kept up with here in Texas were created by 1 non citizen, and 1 muslim.

It gets down right confusing but maybe Brudder Rush is right, it is actually all Al Sharpton's fault.

RN    Posted 11-25-2004 at 20:21:19       [Reply]  [No Email]
NASCAR and rodeo prayers probably for survival of participants. School prayers at games also for survival of players. Student prayers for survival of tests and troublemakers in school. A prayer to survive Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Al Gore and John Kerry possibly had a line 'Lord help Bush'. The country will probably survive, pray for the people in government to survive leftwing/wrongwing media. Burr- remember as rightwing you are on the winning side now- take a lesson from Ben Campbell. RN

Burrhead    Posted 11-25-2004 at 20:33:27       [Reply]  [No Email]
I must be a little behind on this one RN. What did Ben do now??

RN    Posted 11-25-2004 at 20:42:00       [Reply]  [No Email]
If you remember his political career - he won initialy as Democrat, said Liberal Dems didn't represent his constituents and his beliefs- wouldn't take voting orders from Liberal Dems , switched to Republican party. Served honestly and honorably as Republican. Retired as of this election? RN.

Read up on Hruska from Nebraska- did some work for various Indian groups. Wife and kids on Cherokee tribal list- one comment was kids favorite movie was Custer Massacre, cheered when Custer got it. Another joke was Custer did some bad things to tribe when he was in charge of reservation . Complaints were met with comment 'so sue me'. Tribal elders not quite fluent in English, couple of them thought he was refering to Lakota, sent a message to Hunkpapa they knew named Sitting Bull. Custer got Siouxed.

Burrhead    Posted 11-25-2004 at 21:38:06       [Reply]  [No Email]
;^) he dang sho got Siouxed alright. The way he was treating them I think he got his just rewards.
