Im sure that got a collective groan....

Be gone hunting for the past 6 days. Im tired, sore, got cactus and mesquite thorns in various parts of my body, cant taste anything due to scalding hot coffee..or was it the tequila...and one eye is so bloodshot I cant see, but other than that it was a great trip!

Welcome back...    Posted 11-30-2004 at 04:34:04       [Reply]  [No Email]

I was just talking to Mutt this morning. He said the deer kill in VT is down 30%. The commissioner went on TV and said the hunters were hunting in the wrong place. Mutt said "We're hunting in the wrong state." ROFL.

Not only is the kill down, but the licenses sold is down to just over 80k from a high of 120k in the 70's...F&G have already cried to the legislature that they are going to run a deficit again...

The legislature gave up their 'rights' to manage the herd this year...I wonder if the F&G will do any better...

Lets see....approximately 47 Miller Lites, 1 liter of tequila and a half gallon of George Dickel Black!

Oh....about 120 quail and 2 big barren does. I was sausage hunting, and horns dont grind well!

I love sausage and I love birds...

Skin em out, wrap a long strip of bacon around the whole thing, wrap that in a couple three wild grape leaves and bake em...

Melt in your mouth good...
