Now that we are well on the downside of Thanksgiving, I wanted to be the first to wish you all a heartfelt:

HAPPY RAMAHANAQUANSMAS!!!*

*blatantly stolen from the Glenn Beck radio show

I left the Rama part off the calendar. I do the monthly calendars for the preschool. I added clip art - A Chanukah menora, some African dancers with the for Kwanza, a family around a decorated tree for Christmas, even a big Winter Solstice star for the pagans. I was thinking of Ramadan but forgot it.

Oh well. I am bound to offend someone, but the clip art makes the calendar attractive.

Gaaaaahhhhhhhh!

But then, anybody or anything that pokes a hole in some of these PC Gasbags is okay by me.

It's MY country, MY religion and MY holiday, and I'll damned well call it whatever I want to, and if you don't like it, take yer business and yer thin-skinned arse elsewhere...

(Sorry, that's one of my buttons...)

Les    Posted 12-01-2004 at 04:47:15       [Reply]  [No Email]
I doubt it. Last year Glenn had it on his website but I don't see it there today.

ROFL! Pretty clever. Is that intended to offend everyone or no one?

Salmoneye    Posted 12-01-2004 at 04:55:00       [Reply]  [No Email]
I think he touts it as "The Non-Offensive Fall Harvest/Winter Solstice Celebration" or something along those lines...

I just went and looked, and I butchered the spelling...

RamaHanuKwanzMas is the correct spelling...

:-)
