Skip this if you think I am being too controversial by bringing this up, but I fail to grasp what is so controversial about this add that CBS and NBC axed it?

Everyone is leary of risk taking these days - things seem so big brothery and oppressive. I heard about this on NPR this morning and the official word from ABC is that they do not use any religious advertising, and the other station is concerned because the executive branch of our government is considering a constitutional amendment with regards to recognizing homo$exual marriage or somesuch.

Like I said - risk aversion of the highest degree. Don't worry, other networks will be running the ad. Basically the ad (acording to the radio description) shows two bouncers denying people access to a church and saying that Jesus would never have turned people away and neither do they.

I was unable to view the entire ad for some reason. From what I did see was that it portrayed some churches as turning away folks because of "ability, age, race, economic circumstance or seaxual (mispelled intentionaly) orientation"
This portrayal, even if true in some churches or denominations, could be very hard to get approved by media management who are watching ratings and public opinion/outcry. JMO

It didn't specificly deny access to conservatives?
