Hey everybody. Been around here and there, not as much as ususal. Don't know why exactly. Guess I have just gotten werapped up in other things.

Called Petsmart today, bad news, no job. Not only did they eliminate those job openings, they ahve cut back the hours of the folks already working there, so thats out. Maybe I just wasnt meant to get a job, at least not right now.

Ian is going to try to get a loan in January (long story) for that house and 31 acres on the GA-AL line. I don't think its going anywhere, been sitting for about 2 years we think. Too far out for some folks, but Ian doesnt care, he thinks its a good opportunity, and he is willing to drive an hour and 20 minutes to work. Shoot, he is the one that found the place. So, everybody just hold their breath and keep their fingers crossed.

Been looking up a wealth of information about home schooling. Long story short, that incident I told y'all about several weeks ago, well, it didn't go away. It kept nagging at me, so I figured I should do something about it, had an hour and a half talk with the principal, she is saying she doesnt change students from one class to another this late in the year, so I told her its either that, or I am pulling her out. I have already got the list of materials and paperwork I need to make it so. If we are living out on 31 acres she is going to have to be home schooled anyway. There ain't nuthin out there! Cept a little church across the street.

The chickens are all doing fine, still giving me plenty of eggs, still taste good as ever. :) Misty keeps thinking she needs to get into the neighbors yard, so I have trimmed everybodys wings to be safe. Nothing but jungle next door, but it makes it a pain to go and get her, cause with that little chicken brain, she can't figure out how to get back, lol.

This cool weather and some spirits have gotten Ian and I close lately. Last weekend, we were, ahem, pretty busy. ;) Seems this weekend may hold the same. Got a bonfire planned. We were flipping through Musicchoice on our DirecTV last night, he stopped on one, it started playing, Foreigner, from the Foreigner 4 album. Played "I've Been Waiting For A Girl Like You". WOOOOOOWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEE brought back some teen angst memories. Went to our conglomeration of CDs, and low and behold, I had that CD, listening to it last night, man that was a blast from the past, got me in the mood for this weekend, gonna be a nice one.

Y'all take care of each other, I will be around. :) XOXO

Sorry about the job Kelley...but I beleive everything happens for a reason...Sometimes it sure makes you wonder...Jobs are tight here unless you are in the city..But then it cost more than you can make to live there...
MAtt's running me crazy talking about a tractor...he wants one and needs one badly but don't see where the money is going to come from...Guess I am rambling too...KAtG

I been missing all of ya's. Almost caught up for Winter's set. Did something for us today. Split wood. Front yard almost looks passable. And, Clink has the fuel to keep the home fire burning.
Maybe with an enough snow I can reminisce some of my Summer's adventures that haven't been written yet. If nothing else the g.g.grand children might get a kick out of them someday?
Ya need them 31 acres Kelly. A big garden will keep ya busy and some thing to can. Yum, remembering my Mom's kitchen.
Good evening all of ya's and the ones I missed.

Hey there Fern...The other morning it was 24 degrees here and had a heavy frost...I told MAtt I bet Fern won't even think this was cold..lol..
MAtt's outgrown his insulated coveralls and if I put on alot of clothes I can keep them on...I have to roll them up 7 inches or so though...but they sure do the trick...Got to get some warm rubber boots though...do they make such a thing???...Good to see ya...KAtG

I've never stood still long enough to experience cold feet. Have trouble with my fingers at times coming in from outside their hurting in the warmth of the house like having fanned Hellís flames haven been frost bite a couple/three times to many. Only real comfort to them, Clink has denied me lately. The honeymoon must be over?
Five more days. Iíll talk about getting even!
Fernan
