Was about 15 miles from home last night at five o'clock for dinner no snow then looked out about eight and had 3 inches already so I headed for home . Drove by the edges of the road and tail lights when there was any . A regular white-out Ended up with about five inches altogether . Nice out today though but cool . Worked on a tractor some today . Got a leak on a slave cylinder for the power steering . got to remove abunch of tin and the radiator to get at it . Then figure out how to fix it .
It seem to be leaking along two milled pieces
Maybe blew a gasket or something .
I alway have a mess when I drain a radiator so I was thinking of starting it up and watch till I see water flowing then take the top hose off and run it in a pail and then put a little air on the radiator and see if I can push the antifreeze out the bottom hose up thru the motor and into a pail and not spill any . I'll see how that works tomorrow .
Hope your fog is lifted by now .

Not gone yet but snow forcated tonight and tomorrow. I started the Tender today just to run it till it was warm and the battrys all charged up. I hook a small hose conected to the drain pet/cock and let it go into a bucket then pull the hoses. Mark H.

This is the view I like during the winter when it is snow. Taken of the same view last year at this time. Mark H.

Till you look at it for a couple of days. The air is raining ice about 1/4 inch thick on the windsheild in a haft day. Even the dirt is slippery when you walk on it. The sander truck spread it first load of sand of the winter on the road today! Mark H.

Yeah, that Ice can be a bad thing. Dangerous to Drive and even walk on! Not to mention hard on the Power Lines. That other pic is real nice too!

If it keeps up to much longer the lines will be dropping. They are saging all ready now. But I still love winter so I can enjoy the summer heat here. Mark H.
