can't call primary and secondary fixed disk drives a "master or slave" drive any more huh?
Well then we just as well quit referring to drive A as a "floppy", and drive C as a "hard" drive due to the many jokes of seaxual (mispelled intentionally) nature. What a crock that article is.JMHO

In engineering we had to quit calling retained nuts "slave nuts" over 20 years ago (at GM).

We kept calling the male fasteners (bolts) and female fasteners (nuts-how appropriate is THAT!). One day I had a female engineer ask me the difference between a male and female do you answer that without getting slapped!!! Fortunately her husband worked there too so I just deferred the question to him.8^D
