Welllll...I have downsized my decorating. Nobody ever helps me, and it took three days to get everything out into the front yard. I just don't have it in me like I used to. I still decorate inside, though I haven't yet, shame on me. I think I am just ready to move, and so I don't want to have to put anything up that I dragged out, since moving MAY be right around the corner. Sigh...maybe I will go get those decorations out, at least the light up animated pond and the fiberoptic tree...lol.

I have gotten to the point that we just use miniature lights outside and when the season is over I just pull everything down. No regard for saving them. Just trash em. It is way cheaper to trash them and buy new next year, than it would be to pay the nuthouse bill if I tried to save, wind, unwind, and fixem next year.My daughter,Lacey, and I spent the day putting up about 5000 lights. We string our 40' windmill from top to about 3' from bottom with clear miniatures. We make a trunk of lights and at night it looks just like a 40' pine.I wish I was smart enough to post the picture!!
