kinda like our weather.
my grandmother would say it's "dunkledreep" (sp)outside. only she would say it all in dutch.

Ah, O.K. That's different, yes. PA Dutch sounds more like German to me - which I also speak, having lived there for a long time...

Gerret there are lots of Dutchmen around here. First Steve's came 200 yrs ago then your's in the late 50's. The man our neighbours stayed with when they first came here went home for a visit, he was 5 min late for his flight back here and the plane crashed after take off from Amsterdam. That was around 1960, you may remember that crash.

Lots and lots of Dutch people around here too, Bob, Gerrit.....I believe the first real influx was just after the secound world war, from then on the population has grown dramaticaly. Still not on a par with the Scandihoovians tho.... have a good one R.E.L.
