HAd the surgery yesterday morning I think..lol..everything has been kinda of a blur with MAtt poking pain pills down by throat..Took alittle longer than we had figure but the cyst was larger but was NOT cancer!!!! Thank God!!!
Didn't miss any of my chores through...feed my calf and emptied water buckets and filled water troughs...Everything but scoopin the poop...can't handle the pitchfork and shovel yet...There is no way I would sat around and let MAtt do all this stuff by him self...
Kelley you will love your Jersey...I got 4 and I adore them all...Talk about some good milk and butter...yummmm...Ms. Ellie..(the milk cow) is fresh so she is giving about 3 or more gal. daily plus feeding the little calf...
Glad to be back and see everyone is okay...Thanks for the prayers...I was scared...KatG

Bless your heart, I am so glad you got through your surgery and it wasnt cancer, what a relief that must be! Your like me, can't keep me still for long!

My Mama asked me when I plan to sleep when I get myself situated out there on my land. She said, you are going to home school Shelby 4 and a half hours a day, have a garden, milk a cow, make butter and cheese, you already have chickens, and then there is the land to tend, and the house and the other every day things like laundry. WHEN ARE YOU GONNA SLEEP?

I just laughed, I told her I would find time, and that I would be milking that cow twice a day according to Fern, not once, lol.

I'm happy for you , Kat!
Take it easy a couple of days, though!

I'm very happy things went well for you. But, I feel I should caution you about overdoing things the first few days following any surgery. Take it easy just as much as possible for the next few days. It'll still be there when you are better mended. That's one thing about work, it nevah goes away on it's own.......gfp

Don't push it to hard give it a few days to heal, heck Matt can do the chores for you. Glad it went OK for you!! I would be scared to if they wanted to cut on me! Mark H.

I was scared MArk...Got a three inch incision on my chest ...looks like I was shot in the heart,,,Stitches are hurting some...Matt babies me but he don't turn down the help...Think it scares him when I get down because I am usually always up and going...KatG

You're certainly full of good news.
Clink got her patty caked results back today negative. I figure a little prayer is of no hurt. Now I'll add one of thankfulness for both of you.

Hey, Kelly glad it went well. But do take it easy!!! Those pain pills can have you fooled. Often the second or third day after is the worst. water buckets are heavy!

I had a similar surgery about 10 years ago Kat, have a very little scar. I was awake during the entire thing. I was given a sedative to sleep until they numbed the area then they woke me up. I asked the doctor if I talked at all and he said yes you did, we now know more than we care to about weaning puppies....Lord what a mouth I have LOL.
