Looking for a place in the country

Hi,
We are looking to move to the country and raise our children.
We have 4 (2 Girls and 2 Boys), we currently live in Brazil Indiana and hate it.
I want so much to be able to teach my children the true meaning of peace and give them the up bringing that you can only get from living in the country.
Cutting firewood and having chores to do when you get home from school are important traits to learn when young.
I would like to find an old Farm House that is in need of work that could be bought on Contract or Rent to Own. I have seen some older houses that were just sitting there going to waist.
We are good people and we don't drink or do drugs. My wife and I are hard workers.
I don't know if this is the place for this kind of post or not but I thought I would give it a try.
If you could help us out I would never forget it and it would make our dreams come true.
Thanks,
Doug and Terri Mullens

good plan, hard to execute. several woes as i see it. first off-- ya'll need employment after you get settled in your new place. start on that 1st.

work is scarce in some parts.

look where you figure you can get work and keep the clan afloat.

You are exactly right, I don't want anything to do with the city life.
I was rased in the country and loved it.
That is also a part of the reason that I'm looking to move, I don't like what the city life is doing to me.
We still believe in helping others in need and are caring about other people.
That is almost gone in the city.
We want a simple life and are going to find it one way or the other.
I guess I should have stated that I repair electronics. So I would be starting my own shop there.
I also have 20+ years in Auto and Truck repair.
Work has never been a problem for me as I can do about anything with my hands.
Anyway thanks for the insight and you are right on the money about bringing city ways to the country.
Take care,
Doug

Hi Doug,
There were a bunch of secluded building sites on Contract Sale, in the Spencer,IN Newspaper, this week, 2 to 5 acres, at $9,900, to $20,000.
And there also were a bunch of Mobile homes, on small acreages, 2 to 5 acres, secluded, offered on
Contract Sale.
Not that far away from you, all around Spencer Gosport, Clay City & Freedom.
Hope you find this.
Good luck & Good Hunting.

'Til later,
Old John
