Well, if they put him in prison it'll have to be in solitary confinement. Won't last long otherwise.

Death sentence? In California? Isn't that a paradox?

Redmud    Posted 12-13-2004 at 17:20:24       [Reply]  [No Email]
There are 600 people ahead of Peterson on death row. Ca does not move very swift in these matters. He will die of old age in prison..

This may not be such a bad thing. From what I've heard, he would be in solitary 23 hours a day until his execution

"solitary 23 hours a day until his execution "
He will have a lot of time to think about what he did and will have to be alone with that person.

Of course, then there will surely be some idiot woman who will persue him in prison. Who will vow she loves him dearly and will visit, write to him and want to marry him! What ever in the world posesses those women??

Redmud    Posted 12-13-2004 at 19:21:12       [Reply]  [No Email]
No, It's not a bad thing, had they gave him life, he would get an appeal in a matter of months. now it will most likely be the better part of ten years before an appeal.

as horrendous as what he did i am glad it's over. i was sick of seeing it plastered all over newspapers, tv, radio, you name it and quite frankly i no longer gave a hoot about it.

To the best of my recollection, Kobe hasn't even remotely been accused of killing anybody. Do you know something I don't know?
(Not that I have any admiration whatsoever for the slimeball but the distinction is stark, IMHO.)

Thats the difference of jury of peers,or a jury of brothas.

The man had another choice. He could have gotten a divorce. A woman and her baby would still be alive.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy, and now goes the enormous cost of appeal after appeal. Pity the rezs of CA.

Most people I know believe that Scott Peterson did not recieve a fair trial. We believe SCott was tried
and convicted by Fox News, {the government propaganda channel} and by mob rule.
We also believe if the jury would have found Scott innocent, there would have been riots in the streets. In there minds he was guilty and no matter what evidence or lack of it did not matter.
Good luck Scott in your appeals.

I agree................any appeals should be immediate...and sentence carried out on last day of appeal period. Too many sit on death row for taxpayers expense. The man was GUILTY as sin................

toolman    Posted 12-13-2004 at 15:47:03       [Reply]  [No Email]
i thought he was too, i hope she and her parents can now rest in peace , it was a terrible thing he did to her and her baby.

SusieQ    Posted 12-14-2004 at 01:59:37       [Reply]  [No Email]
And the same care of Hacking..out in Utah, wonder if his trial has started......i am not much for divorce, folks should think things thru before saying I do..........but opition is divorce instead of the OT says, an eye for an eye......agree that this is true.
