Here is that recipe for WHIPME WHOPME. I don't know if this dessert dish is just a family thing or regional or whether it's more widespread than that. I do know that it is delicious and it's something our family always has for Thanksgiving. But there's no reason why it has to be just that time of year.

WHIPME WHOPME

l pkg. jello (lemon) - 3 oz. I presume
1 can evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
1 lemon
1 pkg. Nabisco wafer cookies

Make jello as usual. Boil milk in can 10-15 min. Chill.
Beat milk until like whipped cream.
Add sugar and lemon juice. Beat. Add jello to milk.
Beat until thoroughly mixed.
Line square dish with crushed cookies. Pour mixture in.
Cover with more crumbs. Chill.
Best served in custard cups.

One man on the Tales board told me that he used Cool Whip instead of the evaporated milk. I don't know why that wouldn't work.
Enjoy.
