Speaking of Horse Poop

I finily got around to cleaning my corral. Got a mountain of poop. (Cow and horse). Piled it up then went to town to see if I could pawn it off on somebody. Found a sucker and loaned him my dump trailer to haul it. Well I guess I let it set piled up too long. When I started to load it up it looked like the barn was on fire. Smoke covered the area. Boy I lucked out. He hauled away about 4 trailer loads. (About a third of it). The trailer looked like it was on fire going down the road. I had to spread the rest of it out until someone else hauls it off. Last time I put it too close to the barn.

We got four horses,7 cattle, 3 sheep and about 20 goats. All the poop goes in the garden patch. When we moved here 4 years ago, the garden was sloped down about 5 five over the hundred foot length. It is now almost level. We pile it on every fall with the leaves and straw, and all winter then plow and rototill it in. Soil is dark and loose. Stuff grows like mad. There's so many worms, my daughter wants to sell fishin bait.

Seen a ad in the local paper awhile ago. It read.

"HORSE POOP. 6 pack you load, 12 pack I'll help"

I thought it was kind of funny.

Put some on the rhubarb before you give it all away. Sure does make it grow.

That's about as close as you can come to "getting your poop in a group".
