about the worst i ever tried was veggie burger - a coyote raided our cheese that nite but left the stuff too - we finally used the full can for target practice. that and fred cucumbers are no treat either. and blended salad's pretty icky.

Yuck! That prize would go to my baby sister when she was younger. She LOVED French's mustard and would crumble crackers in a bowl and drown it in the stuff. Called it mustard soup...this from the person who would also stand with the fridge door open and while she was looking inside would squirt it straight from the bottle into her mouth just to make me cringe. She knew I hated mustard, it's like kryptonite to me and I avoid it at all costs. Luckily she never got sick from it and has now outgrown that kind of : )

And Prez Nixon ate cottage cheese liberally seasoned with Louisiana Hot Sauce. I thought it sounded awful, but tried it and now that is the way I eat it.

Well, as a kid every time we butchered my mom would fix up a batch of hog brains in with scrambled eggs. I loved it! Been 50 years since I've had any tho. Soppin Red Eye gravy with a bisquit was good too.

I can still remember the good smells of the meat salted down and hanging in the milk house.

One of the weirdest that sounds like ka-ka, but in actuality goes incredibly well together is (drumroll please)...

A sandwich made with...

Peanut Butter,

Extra-Sharp Cheddar Cheese,

and Liverwurst...

I was with ya right up to the liverwurst. That's on my list of "about 2 seconds before I starve to death" foods...

Mother Goose Liverwurst is incredible...McKenzies is OK, but Mother Goose is the best around here...

We made peanut butter sandwiches with:
- honey
- banana slices
(both are normal so far)
- bacon slices

The key to this sandwich is grilling the concoction after assembly. It is really good. We saw this on TV and they called it the "Elvis". What a tasty PB sandwich.

- Peanut

Back in my days as a vegetarian (no meat - still ate fish and eggs), I was in a hurry for lunch and threw together a quick sandwich with some stuff from the fridge:

- Bread and butter pickle slices
- Cheddar cheese slice
- Miracle Whip

Sounds simple and quick. Throw that on two slices of wheat bread and what you end up with is ...

First bite made me gag. Never made it to the second bite. Catsup/kethup never crossed my mind. Probably would not have helped.

Until recently I worked for a medical equipment manufacturer and spent quite a bit of time traveling in Europe. I think the strangest thing I found was while in a pizza place in Copenhagen, Denmark I accidently ordered a pizza with oysters on it. I am fond of both, but not together! Another time, while in Switzerland I ordered a pizza and it came with a fried egg right in the middle. After that, I decided to curb my pizza fetish til I got back home! By the way, I like ketchup on almost everything, including cottage cheese and scrambled eggs. Jim.

Ketchup or catsup Is a condinement and is meant to go on anything. So technically speaking he was not mixing food but seasoning his cottage cheese.
