my husband made me a rollin pin cause i couldn't find one i liked, so i was wondering do i have to stain it to seal it or can i just oil it up good with cooking oil???

My neighbor's husband made hers out of PVC pipe.I had mine cut out of one inch and they
are great. Throw them in the dishwasher to clean.

Did he make it out of a piece of nice rock maple?
If it were me, I'd just use it and care for it like any other.

If it's maple or cherry just use vedg. oil on it. soak it real good for a few days and when it doesn't take any more oil wipe it off and let it set for another few days and your grandkids will pass it on to their kids.
