Asked Amanda's mother if she had an update on Amanda or knew if she got any of the mail & care packages sent to her and this is the reply I got.

"Well..........I don't know for sure if she received them or not. I got a short email from her this morning. She was very discouraged because she spent 1/2 hour writing me a two page email, and then before she could send it, it somehow got deleted and she wasn't allowed any more time! They have 20 minute limits on the Internet and she had been there 30.

Her email was so sad because she took the time to write about everything she got I think, and then it disappeared into the twilight zone or something. But it is not that unusual to have strange stuff happen over there.

I will email her and ask but I am not sure when she will get back online. I promise you, as soon as I know anything, YOU will know too. Also, packages sent the second week of December or later HAVE NOT arrived yet. I DO know that. She specifically told me that nothing had come from this one friend of mine yet when I got email.

So that is all I know about that. Sorry. War is hell. That much I do know.
Becky :( "
