From the shores of beautiful Lake Superior, I pray that everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and may 2005 bring all us "country folks" a renewal to the things which are truly important, our faith, our families, and our dear friends.

And to all who are giving of themselves serving overseas, my hat's off, and I send a big heart felt THANK YOU for your dedication and determination which carries you through the tough times your going through separated from those you love.

YOUR lake so Superior, eh?

Salmoneye, From The Shores Of Lake Champlain That Was A 'Great Lake' For About 5 Minutes...

PS.....Just kidding, and may the coming year bring you riches both tangible and ethereal...

Well of course Champlain is a "great" lake. And so is Winnipesaukee!

Not only that,    Posted 12-29-2004 at 12:22:15       [Reply]  [No Email]
we don't have to share it with some other state.
"Golden Pond" (AKA: Squam Lake) is even nicer, if not as big. Especially since Hanoi Jane moved on to her next project.

I Don't like to share the lake, but we make allowances for those people who are not lucky enough to live in New England...

Hows "Champ" doin?Havn't heard anything lately :)

I lost him...    Posted 12-29-2004 at 13:19:05       [Reply]  [No Email]
And the woman I was showing around looking for him had a bad time with her crew this last summer...

She'll get funding again...She always does...

Summer of 2003 they 'heard' something in the lake using 'echo-location'...Like a 'Whale' or porpoise does...

That was where it stood this year too...Nothing new since 2003...3 days after her crew left, a family on vacation 'saw' champ in the area we were looking...

Oh well LOL
