Thanks for the nice comments on the ear. I am struggling through it. Hopefully you can manage better. The ears and teeth seem to cause the most pain ... least as far as I am concerned. I am due for wisdom teeth extraction in three weeks. I keep telling myself ...

I love soup

I love Jello (wrong - friggin space food)

I love water (ok I like water)

I like two black eyes (been there done that - bar fights)

I like swollen a swollen jaw (see above)

You also get Ice Cream too, Milkshakes. BEWARE of getting a dry socket. Just use the ice packs they give you, they'll help alot Peanut...BTDT Make yourself drink lots and lots of fluids too : )

eww..Peanut I FEEL yer PAIN! UGH..I was fortunate and had mine removed in the Dr's office!! They were REALLY bad but luckily didn't have surgery..altho with wisdom teeth it is ALL considered surgery. My friend had it done in hospital but hers were impacted..she looked like a chipmunk! I agree w/ DD..just watch that dry is the WORST

Anyone ever use a wet tea bag in socket? My hubby's dentist told him to do this, it works.
