Much as I hate plumbing, and I guess I'm just a little superstitious, so I'm scared to say that the leaking shower drain is fixed.

But I wanted to thank everyone for their help and advice with it...since yesterday we've taken a few showers with it now, I've checked for leaks after each one and **so far** it hasn't started leaking again (yet).

So thanks for all the advice. Took me awhile to settle on my course of action after digesting all the advice, but it all helped me get this far. So thanks to all!

Tom, Although I'm glad your problem seems to be fixed, I'm afraid I wasn't one of your advisers, just wanted to stop by and say hi and wish you a Happy and Prosperous New Year to you and your family. Take Care!

And I will echo Patria's comment, Tom....I, too, did not give any advice on the problem.... and, will wish you and Patria, both, a prosperous new year....R.E.L.

Thanks for the sentiment, I hope both you and Patria, and all your loved ones, have a safe and wonderful 2005.

I plan to, and God willing it'll happen!
