some years ago i made a donation to a large charitable organization that was providing some sort of immunization for children. i mentioned this to a friend and the friend promptly chastised me for giving money to such a "crooked" organization. my response was that if just one kid got what he/she needed it was worth it as far as i was concerned. ( i truly do not remember to what org. i gave the donation)
i have absolutely no idea whether the UN is a good or bad organization. do we need the UN? i don't know. would we better off without it? i don't know. is there corruption within the un? heck yes!!! just the same as our gov't. has corruption within it. would we better off without our gov't? some people think so. (i don't)
there was a time when i was a self described "news hound". i thought i wasn't living right if i didn't watch the local and national news every nite and morning. i don't think that way any more. i still tune to the news once in a while, but i mostly ignore it.
ya have to remember one thing about television or any media outlet, it's all about the ratings! nuthin more.

I never took a preference for or against the UN but I have noticed the folks who are cussin the UN the most for some reason listen to talk radio alot.

12 to 15 hours a day on XM, and I think yer right. After a liberal dose of old time radio, I blame most of my right wing rantings on Chester Reiley, seems I'm a bit confused, the life of Reiley, ain't the same as the O'reily factor is it?? hmmmmm Mebbe Fibber and Molly are wharpin my mind. LOL

The Shadow Knows...

Personally...I'll take Stern and Don & Mike over the 'preaching' any day...

Salmoneye, Who Sees More Professed 'Liberals' Mentioning 'Talk Radio' Than The People They Accuse Of Listening...

i was listening to o'reily before was "discovered". now he's just plain boring and has become a legend i his own mind. i no longer pay any attention to him or ANY talk show hosts.

XM that satelite deal?? I heard one feller here talking about he could listen to that communist Limbaugh O-Really kind of mess 24/7 on their local FM channels.

Here while back I saw one whineyboy talking about he listens to that mind altering self rat-ious mind altering mess everyday at work. I guess I have different work ethics than some folks. I try to work while I'm at work and never tried to get mesmerized by a sects prevert and a pill head.

It's amazing some folks think that a crippled veteran with a family on welfare is a nest of bums or leachs, but a loafer that hangs out in armories and who practices self hypnotism at work is a hero.

Yeah, I love my XM, I got music'd out years ago. AM talk gags me, soooo I opted for XM and can escape all that crap, and still have something to listen to at work.
My work ethic is probably lacking, but I'm still able to drive truck, and listen to the radio at the same time.
While I don't do either one well, I'm still able to babble on about both, here on the net, LOL

when I get a couple more months good time I may get to have a radio in my room. Most days the day room TV is on BET or Oprah.

When I get my radio privs I just don't want to waste my listening time on dribble from pill heads and sects preverts on FOXX.

I never knew when I became a ratwing there was 23.5 hours of radio lectures aday, and next convention Liddy has to get her own room. I do appreciate her signing me out for day passes tho.

Ron/PA    Posted 12-30-2004 at 18:30:26       [Reply]  [No Email]
You'd hardly qualify as a rat wing if yer wastin that other hour a day, you're probably missing the best part.
Liddy may have a few red cross comp passes for rooms at the motel 6.
If & when you get radio privelages, Al Franken will provide you with a fair and balanced report.
Who supervises you when yer out for a day????
I'm concerned.

I got one them ankle bracelets and a cow bell. Liddy signs me out and if my beeper goes off over 100 feet from the motel it's back to the hole.

I been taking some night courses from the Rev Ike Institute. So far I don't know if I wanna be a televangelist or a repo man.

I like the repo work except when them little kids is squalling and holding onto their crippled old Grammaw while I'm cussin her and evicting her, it's hard for me to hit her with the hot shot.

Rush says it'll get easier.

I usually find that if ya give that wheelchair a push out the door, the kids will follow. Course it helps if you put her stash on her lap. They usually quiet down then.
Ya do know that in PA. the repo man can keep any and all unopened bottles of Muskatell, found in home or auto. Sells good on e-bay.

Is it true that the two biggest problems in the world today are ignorance and apathy?
I don't know and I don't care.
