they better be careful with that throwing money around business. don't they remember winning the cold war? by out-spending the soviet union and inventing phony star wars rumors and all that b.s.? jeez, reagan might be gone but we still have a national debt to remind us what a circus it was. :)

I will be wearing a new floor length gown in white, of course, with a matching set of earrings, bracelet and necklace, in emeralds and white gold.
Just can't figure out whether I should trim my beard or braid it.
See you there.
Chas, getting all dolled up, up here in Maine.

I heard $30 million, but who knows? Anyway, the bulk of the cost comes from donors and the Republican National Party. When a Democrat is elected, it comes from the Democratic Party and their donors.

I hope they are serving lobster, Ron/Pa and I are bringing our appetites ;)

Ron/PA    Posted 12-30-2004 at 17:19:26       [Reply]  [No Email]
Ya had yer hands on it, then you blinked and poof, it was gone.
You mean you didn't get your invitation yet?
Ron, who's checking the mail daily.

My sister got an invitation. 'Course, she and Laura have been friends since their, (not a real job), school teaching days in Texas. .....gfp

Ron/PA    Posted 12-30-2004 at 18:16:53       [Reply]  [No Email]
I sure hope she goes, she sure earned it, working at that (Not a real job) job. Just the experience of seeing the whole deal would make it worth putting on a tux! LOL

Mr Sire Ron Sir I Myself have not recieved such an eloquent invitation altho this unworthy one has been invited and indeed given addmitance Duckets to Our esteemable Governors Parade,Inaugeration and the Ball afterwards. While I am humbled by this attention I have chosen to remain at Home since as You rather crude Westerners so aptly put it BEEN THERE,DONE THAT AND ONCE IS ENOUGH.... Thank You so much! Even refused the Lt Gov' invitation to an appreciation BBQ since I Myself am sure They would serve SWINE!
