Thanks BillBK I did get your post and I didnt
know about there being a EPA fine for treating
fire ant hills with gasoline! Luckily I had
not done that yet :) and I will try the instant grits thing too!

As a Northerner, I always wondered what good grits were for, now I know. Thanks Problem is, we don't have any fireants and the cats won't eat 'em..............

The true meaning of GRITS accordin ta Miz Sarge (raised in Calif) is GIRLS RAISED IN THE SOUTH.
She even has a sweat shirt with that on it.

You're welcome,has to be INSTANT grits and don't apply while the top of the ground is wet...works great here in east TX. and is WAY cheaper than all those poisons they sell for the job.
